What is a blog?
A blog is a type of website that is updated regularly with new content. Most blogs contain short, informal articles called blog posts. These posts usually contain some combination of text, photos, videos, and other media. At its core, a blog is just a space on the Web that you can create to record and express your opinions, experiences, and interests.Blog Basics, GFC Global

You will notice in this example blog:
- They have chosen a blog title and an explanation for what the blog is and what it contains.
- They do not post daily or even weekly, but they are consistent in posting at least twice a month. As you get started, by simply posting once or twice a month you can begin to share information you are passionate about, events you have coming up, and more.
- They have included an individual title for each post, have written their main content (this section may be as long or short at you wish), and they have included some type of photo to catch the reader’s attention.
- The topics of blog posts change. This is where you can be as creative or as straightforward as you wish. Your club or organization may choose to blog about upcoming or past organization events or meetings, community events, share articles of information, share the stories of individuals in your group, or share the overall mission of your group. The range of topics is endless and there are no specific rules for what you can share.
